About the team

Yanisa Media is the media and personal-brand vertical of Yanisa, an AI-driven execution company that helps founders and businesses build authority through content, technology and intelligent distribution.

Our content team works across AI-generated content, founder-led content, educational videos, short-form social media, podcasts and other digital formats.

We use AI-powered production workflows alongside human creative judgment to produce content at speed without compromising storytelling, quality or brand standards.

You'll work with our content and creative teams to turn scripts, AI avatar footage, voiceovers, raw footage and other creative inputs into polished content that is designed to be watched, understood and remembered.

About the role

We're looking for a Freelance Video Editor who understands storytelling, pacing and audience attention, not just editing software.

A large part of our workflow involves AI-generated talking-head and avatar content, along with voiceovers, B-roll, motion graphics, screen recordings, educational content and short-form social videos. You'll also work on founder content, podcasts, interviews and other formats depending on the project.

Your responsibility is to take these raw creative inputs and turn them into content that feels clear, engaging, visually interesting and native to the platform it is being created for.

We don't want someone who simply follows an editing checklist.

We want someone who can look at a script or raw footage and think:

What is the story? What should the viewer see? Where will they lose interest? What should I cut? What needs emphasis? How can I make this more engaging?

You should be comfortable working independently, handling feedback, meeting deadlines and adapting your editing style across different brands, formats and content objectives.

What you'll do

  • Edit short-form videos for Instagram and YouTube.
  • Edit AI avatar and talking-head videos.
  • Turn scripts and raw footage into engaging stories.
  • Add B-roll, captions, motion graphics, sound effects and music.
  • Maintain strong pacing, storytelling and viewer retention.
  • Review feedback and deliver revisions on time.
  • Work across different founders, industries and content styles.
