About the role
Yanisa Execution is looking for a motivated AI Engineer Intern to join our technology team for a 3-month internship. You will work on practical AI applications, intelligent automation, LLM-powered systems, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and API-driven solutions used in real business environments.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the fundamentals of AI and Python and wants hands-on exposure to building production-oriented AI systems rather than working only on theoretical projects.
You will collaborate with the development team to experiment with modern AI technologies, integrate models with applications, build APIs, work with structured and unstructured data, and continuously improve the performance and reliability of AI-powered features.
What you’ll do
- Build and integrate AI-powered features into real-world applications
- Develop backend APIs using Python and FastAPI
- Work with OpenAI APIs and other Large Language Models
- Build and improve RAG-based applications
- Create AI agents and automated workflows
- Work with embeddings and vector databases
- Integrate AI services with web applications and internal systems
- Process and structure data for AI applications
- Test prompts, models, retrieval pipelines, and AI outputs
- Debug and improve AI system accuracy, performance, and reliability
- Work with REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and team collaboration
- Research and experiment with new AI tools, frameworks, and approaches
What we’re looking for
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI
- Good working knowledge of Python
- Basic understanding of FastAPI or similar backend frameworks
- Understanding of REST APIs and backend integrations
- Familiarity with Large Language Models and prompt engineering
- Exposure to RAG concepts is preferred
- Knowledge of LangChain, AI agents, or similar frameworks is a plus
- Basic understanding of embeddings and vector databases is a plus
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub
- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment with modern AI technologies
- Ability to work on-site from Nahur, Mumbai
